Why I don't want to change from Windows to Mac - 2008/10/02 12:16
Macs are look stylish, the mac books are portable and the operating system has a nice appearence, however, I find that I still prefer windows. Having used it for most of my life (from Windows 95), I have some applications that have become obsolete now that were simple but good. Yet, the only grudge against apple and macs are that you cannot run common windows applications on them without purchasing VMware or something similar. I am not entirely happy with Vista and I was very dissapointed with XP (the blue green and red tacky theme) but I feel that there are more applications are more compatibility with Windows. Also I have just got a brand new HP Pavillion dv9000 laptop which has 3GB RAM, Centrino Duo Processor, Vista and Full HD nvidia graphics along with a BluRay Player. This I have not yet found looking at macs in comparison. Yet I do like applications such as Safari (my favourite browser) and I have an iPod which I like the look of the system inside too. If apple and Microsoft ever were to team up (I doubt it) and create an OS together with the look of OSX and the applications and some neat little features of Vista, XP and older Windows OS then it would be quite good. I would also recommend the laptop I have as it may not be portable but it ismore powerful than my full PC running XP that I built myself.
