Group Policy Nightmare - 2008/09/14 07:44 Nicky/All,

I am having trouble with Group Policy. I am trying to apply a group policy to an OU but the default domain policy allways over-rides it?

I have blocked the inheritance but still getting the issue?

any ideas where I should be looking (never had an issue with Group Policy before)

thanks

Forgot to mention I even went back through my itidiots archive and watched the episode on GPO, my god how the podcasts have changed)

Re:Group Policy Nightmare - 2008/09/14 09:06 Check to see if the default domain policy is set to 'No-Overide' or 'Enforced' if so, you will not be able to reverse these settings. I recon this is the most likely cause.

It is a pretty weird thing to enforce the default domain policy, but somebody might have done it for a reason.
