Benjamin Rotendahl User Karma: 0	Mail? - 2008/04/11 15:28 Hello i just got my new Macbook Pro and im loveing it. I just have one question. See on my old pc i used hotmail, and now i would like to know if there is a way to get my hotmail account into Mail in Leopard? Hope you can help me.

Re:Mail? - 2008/04/12 06:10 I think the problem is that Hotmail no longer offers POP3 or IMAP4 services, I did a quick google search and came up with http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20060606023130948 which may offer some help.

I notice in the hotmail setting you could place a forwarder to an alternative email, so maybe you could get a gmail account and forward to that, also Mail and gmail will let you set an alternative reply address (@hotmail.com) so that may be worth a try.

Joshua McGregor User Karma: 2	Re:Mail? - 2008/04/12 07:04 Yeh I would suggest Gmail as it supports POP and works well with Mail. Try forwarding mail like Nicky suggested, or, alternatively sign up for Gmail and grab an account, they're great. Cheers, j.
