simple networks for illiterate new mac users - 2007/11/03 09:05 For your Mac show:
How about doing a show for those of us who bought a mac and realised that one just isn't enough and now realise they need another one.
How do you network them easily so that you only have one iPhoto and iTunes library that both machines can update and run from.
How do you use airport to do this?
What, if any, extra hardware do you need to do this? and
Can it be done without downloading any dodgy programmes from the web and running any complicated stuff.

Realise that this might be a bit basic for some subscribers but it would be useful!

Re:simple networks for illiterate new mac users - 2007/11/07 18:16 I'm not actually sure you can have a single iTunes and iPhoto library and allow clients to update it. They have sharing capabilities, though. GDSGaming.com

Re:simple networks for illiterate new mac users - 2007/11/08 05:21 Thanks, do you know if there is a sync function to keep the two itunes libraries the same?

As far as I'm aware, I don't think there is.

You can set up shared music over your iTunes Click Here.
Yes, I use that frequently, but AFAIK, there is no sync function.
