I have had a similar problem with my iPod Nano 3rd Generation, but with a different podcast (1up review crew). My advice is check that your iPod's songs are the same as on your computer and then check that any notes, calender and To-Do entries are backed up and then click on your iPod in iTunes and click "Restore" it will update your iPod and restore it. This fixed the problem for me, it should with yours. If your iPod is not a 3rd Generation Nano, it may still work, but always backup stuff!
