No leave, just work really. Working in France this week looking a Evidians' single sign on solution, whilst designing a 500 server SCOM and 4,500 client SCCM solution in the evenings.

I think the last ITidiots episodes were a little devoid of technical stuff, and I want to put a bit more effort into the next ones. But then again, I am not really sure whay type of episode people want. If you look back at our earlier episodes they were longer and alot more focused, latest ones have just been a little bit of chat and some tech. I suppose we just need to find a good balance.

Any thoughts out there?

That said, I have not minded the more laid-back approach that has been adopted recently...

I suppose what I am saying is that longer is good and I don't mind downloading the extra file sizes. And that whatever you guys produce, I'm sure I will love it... I need my 'fix' of you two... Its been so long...

I'd like to see the original technical format with a bit of the relaxed humour too. If anything, I felt the earlier shows had great technical content but were rather clinical in execution.
Whether this was a combination of nerves, wanting to produce a professional looking cast or just a case of finding your feet I don't know, but something in between would hit the mark in my eyes!

Looking forward to the next show.

Re:Annual Leave - 2008/09/11 17:16 I think I liked the longer episodes too, I like the humor and the content that I could apply in my professional life. I can only watch the episodes on what is supposed to be my "down-time" so I appreciate the entertainment value. I think we have to remember that the both of you do have day jobs that require alot of youm. Personally I would rather see two episodes with good content per month than alot of episodes that are done just to crank one out. (Not that I think that is your intention.) Even if you were to do one Mac Show and One of the Windows IT Idiots per month maybe the format could be slightly longer. The show might be alot less stress to produce as you could take your time and make it more fun for you guys. In turn when you guys are having fun so are your viewers.

Please don't get me wrong I appreciate your work have enjoyd each episode you've put out so far. You remind me that IT doesn't always have to be a serious affair.
