a tip for Ep.47 BDD2007 - 2008/10/02 13:08
if you are following along with the BDD2007 episode, when you have grabbed your xp sp2 source files and want to get all the hotfixes from service pack 2 onwards, try this website:
www.ryanvm.net/msfn/updatepack-sp2.html
you download the integrator program and the latest "Post-SP2 Update Pack".
fire up the integrator program -
* point to the c: distribution operating systems windows xp professional sp2 i386 folder that BDD2007 created.
* point to the post-sp2 update pack you downloaded
the integrator program will then go about streamlining in all the post-sp2 hotfixes for you!
how painless is that? that's my kind of IT
