Wish list done! - 2008/09/28 09:39
I finally got my shiny new 24" iMac which completes the wish list and joins my Mac setup including 3G iPhone, Macbook, Time Capsule, AppleTV and iPod touch. Confirming that I'm definitely no longer a PC.
I recently celebrated my 50th birthday ( if celebrate is the right word ) and decided as part of the evenings entertainment to dust off a guitar and do an acoustic set with my daughter.
The quality of the video recording of the night was pretty pants, so we played around with garageband for a couple of hours and added the result to some edited footage in iMovie.
The ATV was put to good use on the night via a HD projector and a 10 ft screen, the screensaver was a collection of about 150 photos from over the years and was certainly a talking point, but the one thing that did make me chuckle was opening presents the following day. To my surprise I received a pile of apple gift vouchers totaling £350! I have my little princess and my missus to thank for that.
