Mac OSX - 2006/11/04 17:01 How about a beginners guide to the Mac operating system? A person needs only two tools. WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use Duct tape

Re:Mac OSX - 2006/11/06 14:10 Hi BigLee,

Thats not a bad idea. What about an episode on using a Mac mini as a home theatre hub?

I hope you are getting on well with yours, I notice Elgato now have twin tuners USB sticks, great!! Record one and watch another etc.....

Re:Mac OSX - 2006/11/06 15:26 I think that would be a brilliant idea. I certainly would appreciate some help in the area.

I just got my Mac and i am most impressed. I am limited as to what i can do at the moment because i am waiting for the keyboard and mouse to arrive.

Can you tell me how you have your video connected? I am using the standard VGA connection of my TV and was thinking if i could improve on this by using a DVI - HDMI connection. Will i be able to play HiDef through the VGA cable? Do you have the audio connected through the digital output is this a cable worth getting?

Sorry for all the questions but as i said i am a complete newbie to all things mac.
