Re:ITs arrived!!! - 2007/07/27 11:57 Hi Vinze,

They are nice machines, have just ported an Exchange 2007 VMWare environment I used on my work Vista machine to my Mac running VMWare Fusio. I swear the VMs run faster under VMWare fusion, my work laptop is much more powerfull too!

Incidentally VMWare Fusion for the mac is available for $39 at the moment, I would snap it up!

Re:ITs arrived!!! - 2007/07/30 22:54 Hi Vinze,

Parallels is also a cool application, I used to use it before VMWare fusion was available. To be honest I cannot really detect the difference in performance between the products so I would stick to parallels if you have it bundled.

The main reason I run Fusion, is that it allows me to easily run VMs created on VMWare Workstation, and VMWare servers without any conversion.

Re:ITs arrived!!! - 2007/07/31 16:51 Hey Vinze,

I was always intrigued by Parallels, and how it can almost integrate windows into the osx. I like the way that you can run the applications just as if you were at a windows machine and still use the mac apps. If you jet around to doing this, please put a few screenshots of it on the net http://www.imageshack.us/ , and post a link here. I wonder if you could run games on it like Doom3 or WoW.

Thanks,
Jaimesh
