Hi Nick,
It was actually a great way to turn 50. There was about a hundred people at the party, we had a spit roast pig and a 4 ft chocolate fountain. The entertainment was provided by my two mates Tony and John who work as a Blues Brothers tribute (link to BB on a mission below).
I only wish that I had given some thought to videoing the event with something decent rather than relying on my crappy old DV camcorder.
Anyway in an attempt to polish a turd I've just gone out and bought Final Cut Express with my gift vouchers.
If I'd known that your birthday was so close to mine it would have strengthened my resolve to send you and Nicky invitations , I just thought that you might have been too busy trying to get out a new release of the Mac Show 
p.s I've noticed that the Mac Show seems to coincide with a Tiki Bar release is your missus called Lala by any chance?
