I still hate Apple and now have a right due to the iTouch I have and hate :)
However, I still enjoyed all these recent 3 episodes on my long walks to work. I def don't agree with a lot of things Nicky said regarding Apples kit, but still enjoyed the episodes.
For example the 5mb cam and that the 8mb cam on the other phone, of which I forget the name, isn't required. 5mb is more than enough. Def not. I have 5mb cam on my Nokia E71. Pics look OK on phone but look at them on a large screen and they are poor and fuzzy. 8mb would change that. There is a noticeable difference.
I found it funny that it was commented that the other new mob mentioned, my bad memory with names, was bowing to the fashionable crowd in its design. What? And you never mentioned that the iPhone isn't? It's one big fashion statement the iPhone. It has less features than a lot of other phones yet people still buy it. Its camera has no flash but when Jobs decides to put one it, it's revolutionary. Ignoring the fact phones have had this for years. Oh and my Nokia e71 has has a front facing cam for the 2 years I've had it.
Also didn't agree with Su-Fays attempt to defend the multi-tasking feature of the iPhone 4. That if she gets a call she doesn't want her game still running in the background consuming resources and then eventually all these apps running crashing it. But if the OS is designed properly this won't happen. My e71, not perfect, but does multi-tasking. It doesn't crash the phone with them all running. I remember to shut them down and everythings fine.
Options, I want options. That's the problem with Apple, they don't give you them. It's either their way or the high way.
However, I'm now agreeing with Nicky that the iPad would be useful as a lounge device. No boot up time and could be used as an electronic magazine while sat on the loo. Or electronic newspaper. But again, the price is WAY over the top for what it is. Trouble is, Jobs knows, like other fashion items. People will pay over the odds because it's "fashionable".

IPad does have a boot up time it even has a progress bar, yes its still fast but you have to wait before you can use it.
another thing i was shocked at is the Iphone 4 has twice as much memory as the Ipad and the ipad wont be able to run the imovie app. To me the ipad with its larger screen would be better for editing video from a iphone or other device.
Several marketing companies believe that tablets will out sell notepads by 2012 if this is to be the case we're are going to see a lot of devices coming out from other manufactures. Its a shame the HP islate seems to have disappeared, thats because of something to do with HP trying to buy palm.
There will be google devices whether there android or chrome os i dont know, expect there will be both from different manufactures.

Su-Fay and Nicky mentioned another reason I'm not a fan of Apple in the last Unwatchable. It's like a label, like CK or FCUK etc. Everyone has one, but most have it just for fashion.
And to annoy Nicky, I will argue against his comment about the multi-tasking. Saying "That's the beauty of it". In ios4. That it's not true multi-tasking. Yeah it's a bastardisation of it, it's not beautiful. There a many a time on the iTouch I've wanted to multi-task. There should be choice. I understand Nicky's argument against it, but choice is good. Give me full multi-tasking and let me choose when to close the apps. I have an e71. Multi-tasking and I can quickly and easily get a list of apps running, and can close them at will.
Choice, we all like choice.

Correction. The cam on the E71 is only a 3.2mp
Oddly, for the 2 years I've had it I thought it was 5mp :) shows I didn't even look at the back where it says 3.2mp :)

As for the new apple mini it looks to me as if apple has been recycling all those unwanted apple tv cases :-)
