I have just a quick question, if I download a BBC iPlayer program using ipdl.exe, will the ISP only see the legitimate BBC iPlayer URL?

I ask this, because I have a feeling it downloads from a different source as the bbc logo isn't present on the downloaded video and it looks like an TV recording (with bits of the "BBC Two" voice over at the start and finish, which isn't there on the iPlayer program online).

What? What's the ISP got to do with it. It's just a tool to download non DRM iPlayer programs. By pretending it's an iPhone. Google it.

Ahh, that's ok. I was just wondering because I thought maybe they download it from another source using the iPlayer program ID as a reference.

That explains why it is iPhone sized when I play it back...

I have a ruby script that does the same

The problem with scripts is they don't have the nice fluffy GUI, which is pretty much needed for this application.

I also record strait from the TV using my TV Tuner card, it actually delivers much better quality.
