I agree, I think that it was a very interesting episode, so also thanks.
Plus, Mark was a bit hard to hear at times, I had to keep turning up and down the volume, but other than that brilliant!
i believe the show notes said that the mic battery ran out of juice .
Ah, if it is the old mic that was used on previous episodes, then we will have to donate so Nicky can go and get a new one... otherwise we have to put up with low volume...
But I can't donate (for some reasons) so I will just click on each of the adverts a few times...
I just wanted to post a big thank you. You covered topics that I had never really come across in my networks; but can sure see the benefits of using it particularly in virtualization as well as optimizing the use of storage resources. Our company uses as small SAS SAN which is built into our Intel Modular server. It is both easy to configure and has proven to be extremely easy to scale out as more storage is needed. We were able to drop our physical server count from 6 to 3 and through Hyper-V specialize the roles with virtual servers! This has proven to simplify the troubleshooting process immensely and also improved our network performance as the dedicated switch in our Modular Server is 10Gb.
I do like how your editor arranged the slides and the live content. Neither one intruded on being able to see the other.....
One question I do have for you is what would it take in donations to put together an individual microphone solution for your show; so that each of you could be mic'd separately? Maybe a lapel style? I could hear Nicky very well, but at times could not hear Dave at times.
Have a wonderful New Year!
