I'll keep this short: It won't happen. Your boarding pass is tied to your luggage, it is used as a proof of who you are and as a proof of what flight you are on, your destination, your seat etc...
To cut it short, when they scan/tear your boarding pass, it is a head count. If you are not on board, they have to remove your bags (thanks to the lockerby bomber).
Using your mobile phone, you could have modified it, hacked it etc... and it could cause some serious security flaws.
Maybe radio-tagging or swipe cards issued at check-in could be the future.
People will always work with paper. Nothing can stop that.
