unwatchable > Blast from the Past
Yeap i used to sit around playing sierra games on mine
A bit before my time. I have seen "old" computers with a turbo button on (mostly old 95 desktops)
Ahh those where the days, the days lost on Kings Quest or Space Quest etc
I saw an old home movie of myself the other day (my dad is in the process of ripping videos to uncompressed video files) anyway, I was on a computer running Windows 95, and I was amazed at the size of the thing (the computer case) and at how fast I was when typing/clicking!
I guess nothing much has changed (geek ten years ago, bigger geek now),
It was pretty funny to watch...
Kings Quest .. thats one i have never played but seen and heard alot about.
Space Quest, Police Quest and Larry were the ones i liked.
But i loved adventure games like sam and max, monkey island, day of the tentacle, Gabriel knight, indiana jones , beneath a steel sky, after dark etc etc
you hardly get any new adventures these days
Sierra have ruined Larry (they should get Al back!)
great i just found http://www.adventuregamers.com look like i will be spending
I am more into the sort of hands on games (like flight simulator, need for speed etc... [ I spelt that right this time ])

Hey Dave....I had all but forgot that Turbo Button thingy.....LOL....really didn't do much for us did it. :) Good ol' 386DX....those were the days!
